Board Certification Interests

I have always been interested in the neuro aspect of occupational therapy. Neuro is something that I find extremely fascinating and it's something I would really enjoy learning more about. I feel that brain injuries are something is unfortunately becoming more and more frequent, and because of this, the field is expanding more, and there is more research becoming available. After looking on the OT potential website, I found a certification called "CBIS or Certified Brain Injury Specialist". This certification really interests me because it would give me an opportunity to be able to advance in the field that I feel passionate about. The certification also comes with a one year subscription to the Journal of Head Trauma Rehabilitation. This is also a great addition to the certification because it would give me tools to help me in my own research, and also help me develop a more evidence based practice approach.
